Eye spy with my little eye!

Hello Fabulous,

Some of our favourite celebrity eyebrows
In some ways your eyebrows can be the bane of your existence! Plucking, waxing, threading, laser can just get all too much and a little too painful but let me tell you ladies your eyebrows are the window to your face! A perfect set of eyebrows takes a little bit of effort but worth every minute! Perfectly arched eyebrows can work all sorts of magic on your face.

Miraculously your eyes will look bigger and brighter, your cheekbones more defined, your face thinner - in fact the only thing good brows won't do for you is sort your 3pm chocolate cravings.  Mmmm chocolate. Below are some tips on how to get those brows arched and perfectly manicured!

How to get the Perfect Shape:

A good idea is to get them professionally waxed or plucked for the first time, to establish the shape.  Then you can go for gold.   To find the right shape line a pencil vertically alongside your nose.  This is where the brow should begin.  It should end just a smidgen past the outer corner of the eye.  Your arch should begin directly below your iris.

Filling in your eyebrows is seriously underrated.  Even if you have naturally dark brows, filling them in with a matt eye shadow or eyebrow pencil will make all the difference to your eye makeup, especially a strong smokey eye will stand out so much more.
We heart Megan Gale's brows!
Shade in your brows before you start the rest of your makeup, it will help you avoid over application of other makeup as they 'set the scene'.  Always go for a shade lighter than your hair.  Napoleon Perdis have an amazing retractable eyebrow pencil, which is fine-tipped, so handy for lightly 'stroking' through the brows concentrating on any sparse patches and can  be used to slightly extend bows if they have been over plucked.  Try NP eyebrow pencil in Pale Rider (shop here).

Don't worry about looking like an 80's throwback, by using a light shade you are merely defining - and now use a clean or disposable mascara wand to comb the product through, setting hairs at the same time, in an up and out direction.

Finish with some highlighter under your arch to really polish your look.
