Fresh as a daisy after 5!

Get together with the girls after work & have a laugh!
If you are anything like me then having a glass of wine at your favourite bar after work on a Friday is a given! More than often your office is in a popular hub of where ever you live and at least two of your friends (maybe even your boss) will be joining you for a wind down of the week that was!

The fun completely dies when you try and go home, get changed and put on fresh make-up that isn’t after work drinks that is going out on a Friday night! Everyone else is in their corporate attire so we say you should be too, but of course a little touch up from an eight hour day is always on the cards!

Last week we told you what to keep in your hand bag, this week we are going to give you the tips and tricks so that your face is fresh and fruitful for your after work soiree! Who knows there might even be some business cards exchanged?

Wear a lipstick with a pair in it so that it looks glossy but you don't have to carry a gloss through the day as well.

Take an illumining palette so you can add highlights.

Take a black eyeliner and your mascara so you can create a heavier eye look for evening.

If there is space in your makeup bag also take your NP Bronzer so you can sun kiss your cheeks and define your cheekbones and of course the all important cleavage!

Now close down your emails, turn off the office lights and lock the door behind you... You are ready for your fun Friday to start!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Well it is another long weekend and we are sure all our fabulous followers have lots of plans to keep them busy! We are loving winter fashion and of course we are needing it at the moment with the weather being a little chilly! One plus to cold weather ladies is your make-up will stay on longer when you aren’t sweating it off... Of course there is always the negative of not being able to feel your nose... Like they say beauty if pain!

So what was more fitting for our Friday beauty blog but the essential handbag must have’s for a night out on the town! We are sure that the number one fashionista Carrie Bradshaw has her lip gloss close by in her tiny clutch and so should you!

Paint the town RED with a clutch full of essentials:

-          Lip gloss!! Pinky/brown tones?

Before you leave the house and you are doing your make-up it’s better to emphasize your eyes on a night out, as with all the eating and talking going on you will hardly have time to keep re-applying a bright lipstick, so a pinkey brown gloss is more practical to keep yourself looking polished.  You can also subtly use the gloss on your cheeks if your skin is looking tired, to create a more dewy and youthful look.  Perfect for showing off your cheek bones at night!
Paris always has her pink lip gloss handy!

Who wants to come to the toilet with me?

-          Camera Finish
-          Lipstick

We all know on a night out we love to go to the toilet in two’s! We can gossip, laugh or in the worst case scenario have someone hold your hair for you if you are feeling a little under the vodka spell! If you have been dancing the night away blot your t-zone with tissue paper or face blotting paper then press and roll our camera finish over your skin, which is also perfect to combat panda eyes while out and about.

Now you are all set for your night out on the town, click those ruby red stiletto’s together like Dorothy Gale and have an amazing time!
